Darren Woolley
Managing Director
Darren, a science graduate, worked as a research scientist at the Royal Children’s Hospital in the Victorian Neuropathology Laboratory for six years undertaking research in myopathies, neuropathies, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and Repetitive Strain Injury. He established a chemical recycling company called Resolve Pty Ltd before making the transition to advertising in the mid eighties. With more than 15 years advertising industry experience, Darren developed brand and business communication strategies for a broad range of organisations including Blockbuster Video, Herald and Weekly Times, Royal Childrens’ Hospital, Tourism Victoria, Salvation Army, Bega Foods, Yakka, Mitre 10 and Autobarn. He held the position of Creative Director at J Walter Thompson and was President of the Melbourne Art Directors’ Club for two consecutive terms.
Darren has been named in AdNews Power 50: Most Powerful People in Advertising since 2005. He is also a regular contributor to AdNews, B&T, Marketing magazine, Marketing Matters and Procurement Professional. With his background as both scientist and creative director, Darren brings to TrinityP3 a unique sense of process combined with creative purpose.
