Is your marketing aligned to your organisational culture?

Do strong brands have a strong organisational culture? Is there an alignment between the two? Brand Is Culture, Culture Is Brand said the Harvard Business review in 2010 and it is shown that strong company culture can strengthen your brand. Or should your brand and your company culture be aligned?  During recent projects we have observed that those organisations where the marketing strategy is aligned to the organisational culture appears to enjoy significant performance benefits.
